High river levels today may lead to flooding. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads along the River Amber around Ambergate. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. River levels at Wingfield Park gauge are falling but are still high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
