Rising river levels this afternoon may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the afternoon of 30 January 2026 .
Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads around Mansfield, the Sherwood Forest Caravan Park at Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Ollerton, Whitewater Lane at Whitewater Bridge and West Drayton. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. River levels at Whitewater Bridge Gauge will rise until this evening, 30/01/2026.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
