Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

River levels are falling but remain high at the Smithy Houses river gauge as a result of rainfall and snowmelt associated with Storm Bert. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland remains possible. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including the B6179 at Kilburn and Little Eaton, and farmlands in the Kilburn and Little Eaton areas.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff have been patrolling watercourses in the area.

Please plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid contact with flood water.

To check the status of road closures online, please visit the One Network live map.
