Forecast rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding. 

Flooding is possible from the morning of 29 November 2025 . 

Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Ashford and Bakewell areas. Rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Ashford in the Water Gauge will begin rising in the morning of 29/11/2025. 

We are closely monitoring the situation . 

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
