Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including the Morrisons parks at Glenfield and Anstey. Low-lying land and farmlands in the Glenfield, Anstey, Sileby, Thurcaston, Rothley, Newtown Linford, Cropston, Swithland and Quorn areas. No further rainfall is forecast. River levels at Glenfield Gauge are falling, but still pose a flood risk. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 09:00 on 20 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
