Flood alert for River Trent from Cromwell Weir to Gainsborough

River levels are slowly rising at the Torksey river gauge as a result of high spring tides coinciding with high river levels. The next high tides at Torksey will be at 21:30 on 29/01/2025 and 10:00 on 30/01/2025. Areas most at risk are Church Laneham to Rampton Road.

We expect river levels to remain high until 01/02/2025.

We are closely monitoring the situation.

Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
