Flood alert for Tidal Trent for riverside areas from Gainsborough to the Humber confluence

River levels are forecast to rise at the Keadby River gauge as a result of high spring tides. Flooding is possible on high tides from 07:00 on 09/09/2025 and 09:00 on 09/09/2025, and the following subsequent high tides until at least Thursday (11/09/2025). Areas most at risk are Keadby, Amcotts, Owston, Burringham, Gunness, Althorpe, East Butterwick, Flixborough, Gunness Lane and, Neap House road.

We expect river levels to remain high from tomorrow’s morning high (09/09/2025).

We are closely monitoring the situation.

Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
