Flood warning for River Wreake for mills at Hoby, Thrussington and Ratcliffe

River levels are rising at the Frisby LG2 river gauge as a result of persistent rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property and farmland is expected between 21:00 tonight, 24/11/24 and tomorrow evening, 25/11/24. Areas most at risk are Thrussington Mill, including Station Road, and isolated properties at Hoby.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 4 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please avoid contact with flood water and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
