Flood warning for River Trent at Cavendish Bridge

High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 

Flooding is expected on 02 March 2026 at 22:00PM. 

Areas most at risk are Cavendish Bridge, including Back Lane and London Road. No further rainfall is forecast. River levels at Shardlow Gauge are continuing to rise and are expected to peak from 22:00PM and remain high overnight. 

We are closely monitoring the situation .
