Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected on 28 February 2026 from approximately 8PM.
Areas most at risk are Braunstone Lane East, Marsden Lane and Sanvey Lane. Properties and roads in Aylestone is also at risk. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Freemans Weir Gauge will rise until approximately midnight tonight, 28/02/2026. Levels will remain high until tomorrow afternoon, 28/03/2026.
