Flood alert for River Anker and River Sence

Forecast high river levels overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the early hours of 28 February 2026 .
We are issuing this alert as a precaution based upon the rainfall forecasted overnight.
Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Anker between Nuneaton and Tamworth the River Sence between Temple Mill and Ratcliffe Culey.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car . Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.

Flood alert area: Low-lying land and roads between Nuneaton and Tamworth on the River Anker and between Temple Mill and Ratcliffe Culey on the River Sence.
