River levels are rising at the Water Orton river gauge as a result of Storm Bert. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible this afternoon, 24/11/24. We expect flooding to affect Low-lying land and roads between Water Orton and Tamworth including the Bourne Brook at Fazeley.

Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to remain high into Monday morning, 25/11/24.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.

Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses.
