Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 

Flooding is expected from the morning of 28 February 2026 . Some further light rain is expected during Saturday. 

Flooding may affect properties and roads in the Blyth End area including properties off the Blythe Road area. 

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 

Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals . Activate any flood protection you may have. Call 999 if in danger.
