River levels are rising as a response to the rainfall overnight and may continue to cause flooding. Flooding is possible on 27th January 2026. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.

Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent the River Teme, River Onny, River Corve and their tributaries. Locations that may be affected include Bishops Castle, Church Stretton, Knighton and Ludlow.

Predicted peaks:-

Ludlow Corve 3.3m to 3.8m Tuesday 27/01

Onibury 2.2m to 2.6m Tuesday 27/01

Leintwardine 1.4m to 1.7m Tuesday 27/01 overnight

We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
