River levels are rising at the Stanford Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected tonight, 24/11/24 into Monday 25/11/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Stanford Bridge including the Stanford Bridge Caravan Park.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high for several days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety.
