Flood warning for River Severn at Apperley and The Leigh

River levels are rising at the Mythe Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall.

Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected today, Sunday 24/11/24.

We expect flooding to affect B4213 at Haw Bridge.

Predicted Peak at Haw Bridge 4.7m to 5.0m on Wednesday, 27/11/24.

Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.

We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and or Local Authorities.

Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid contact with flood water.
