Flood warning for River Severn at Chaceley and Haw Bridge

River levels are rising at the Haw Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected from this afternoon, the 25/11/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Tirley, Chaceley and Haw Bridge, including the B4213. Predicted Peak at Haw Bridge 4.9m to 5.2m overnight tonight, the 25/11.
We expect river levels to remain high until Thursday the 28/11.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
Please avoid contact with flood water and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
