Flood warning for River Severn at Pitchcroft, North Worcester

River levels are rising at the Worcester (Barbourne) river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected this evening, the 25/11/24. We expect flooding to affect Waterworks Road properties, Newport Street and Pitchcroft Lane. Predicted Peak:- Worcester 4.6m to 5.1m this evening.

We expect river levels to remain high until Thursday the 28/11/24.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.

Please move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
