Flood warning for River Severn at Hampton Loade and Highley

River levels remain high but are now steady at the Bridgnorth river gauge following Storm Darragh. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland continues. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Hampton Loade Highley.

Predicted peak at Bridgnorth, 4.6 to 4.7m on Tuesday morning, 10/12/24.

No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days. We expect river levels to remain high until Thursday, 12/12/24. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
