Flood warning for River Avon at Evesham

River levels are rising at the Evesham River gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected today, the 25/11/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Waterside road area as well as the road and car park on the meadow. Pershore Road Bridge may now be flooding. Predicted peak:- Evesham 2.9m to 3.2m this afternoon the 25/11.

We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.

Please avoid contact with flood water and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
