Get flood warnings by phone, text or email

A series of high tides will result in river levels in Warrington reaching Flood Alert thresholds on overnight tides between Friday 15th and Monday 19th November.

Daytime tides and evening tides will be close to, but are not expected to reach, Flood Alert thresholds. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, property flooding is not expected.

Areas most at risk include low lying land and roads at Fiddlers Ferry, Eastford Road, Arpley Bridge and Knutsford Road. It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge.

Be careful along coastal footpaths and low-lying roads as these may be flooded.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will issue further alerts or warnings if necessary.

Flood alert area: Areas at risk include Fiddlers Ferry, Eastford Road, Arpley Bridge, Knutsford Road, Howley, Kingsway North and Westy.
