High tides this afternoon may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 12:30 PM on 18 April 2026
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads at Fiddlers Ferry peaking at 12:30 PM, Eastford Road peaking at 12:45 PM and Arpley Bridge peaking at 1:00 PM. It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. We are not expecting the next high tide in the early hours of tomorrow morning on 19 April 2026 to reach the flood alert level.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .

Flood alert area: Areas at risk include Fiddlers Ferry, Eastford Road, Arpley Bridge, Knutsford Road, Howley, Kingsway North and Westy.
