River levels will be high until tomorrow morning Sunday 24 November and may lead to flooding.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Mersey, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around low lying land and roads around Micker, Cringle, Sinderland and Poynton Brooks and their tributaries.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.

This message will be updated by 12:00 noon on 24/11/2024, or as the situation changes.

Flood alert area: The Middle River Mersey catchment includes Micker, Cringle, Sinderland and Poynton Brooks and their tributaries. Other locations which may be affected are Stretford, Gatley, Cheadle Hulme and Cheadle.
