Rising river levels tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 27 January 2026 .
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads around the Rivers Bollin, Dean and Pedley, Birkin and Mobberley Brooks and their tributaries from 7:30AM. Rainfall is currently forecast throughout the morning till the afternoon on 27 January 2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .

Flood alert area: The River Bollin catchment includes the Rivers Bollin, Dean and Pedley, Birkin and Mobberley Brooks and their tributaries. Areas around Knutsford, Wilmslow, Hale, Macclesfield and Bollington may be affected.
