Flood warning for River Weaver at Acton Bridge and Weaverham

Due to rainfall overnight and this morning levels on the River Weaver have continued to rise. Flooding is expected from around 2pm on 24/11/24. Levels with continue to rise until later this evening, peaking at around 6.1m around midnight then before falling overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation and have our incident room open and will continue to update this message as the situation changes. This message will be updated by 17:00 on the 24/11/24.

Flood warning area: Areas at risk include Properties along Warrington Road at Acton Bridge and Sandy Lane in Weaverham.
