The River Eden and its tributaries remain high following recent rainfall. Levels are continuing to rise slowly and are expected to peak in the early hours of tomorrow morning 5/11/2025 and then continue to fall throughout day.
Locations remaining affected are, low lying land and roads near the river Eden and tributaries from Temple Sowerby to the confluence with the River Irthing at Warwick Bridge including Langwathby, Lazonby, Kirkoswald, Armathwaite, Wetheral and Warwick on Eden.
We are continuing to monitor the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 05 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
