High river levels tonight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible though the evening of Sunday 7th December 2025 into the morning of Monday 8th December 2025.
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers Duddon, Crake, Mill Beck and other watercourses from Coniston to Barrow-in-Furness including low lying areas around Ulpha, Duddon Bridge, Broughton in Furness, Kirkby-in-Furness, Dalton in Furness and Ulverston.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Don't put yourself or others at risk. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
