Flood forecast for the next 5 days

On Friday local inland flooding is probable in parts of South West England and West Midlands, possible in North Yorkshire and possible but not expected more widely in parts of England. River flooding is also possible but not expected in North Yorkshire into Saturday. This is due to heavy and persistent rain associated with Storm Éowyn.

Flooding is also possible but not expected on Sunday and Monday for parts of England due to further heavy rain. Land, roads and some properties could flood and there could be travel disruption.
