Local flooding is also possible from rivers and surface water on Friday and Saturday in parts of the North of England and the Midlands, and possible but not expected more widely across England from today (Thursday) until Saturday. Local coastal flooding is possible but not expected in parts of England on Sunday. Land, roads and some properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.
