Flood forecast for the next 5 days

Local flooding from rivers and surface water is probable for parts of England on Monday and Tuesday and possible more widely across the country, with river risk persisting into Wednesday in some areas. This is due to heavy and persistent rainfall.

Local flooding from rivers is also possible in parts of the north east of England today in response to yesterdays rainfall.

Properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.
