Local river flooding is possible across parts of the South of England, the Midlands and the East of England today (Friday) . Local river flooding is also possible but not expected across other parts of England today and Saturday as rivers respond to Thursday's rain. Local surface water flooding is possible but not expected today in parts of the Midlands and the South of England due to some showers. Land, roads and some properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.
