Flood forecast for the next 5 days

Local surface water flooding is probable in the South West of England today (Friday) with local river flooding also possible there today and tomorrow (Saturday). Local river and surface flooding is also possible but not expected more widely across the South of England and London, as well as parts of the Midlands and the East of England today and tomorrow.

Also on Friday, local coastal flooding is possible but not expected along parts of the South coast of England from Dorset to Sussex due to large waves.

Land, roads and some properties could flood and there could be travel disruption.
