Flood forecast for the next 5 days

Localised river and particularly surface water flooding impacts are possible later Tuesday, during Wednesday and into the early hours of Thursday across parts of southern, central and northern England due to heavy rain and some thundery downpours.

Localised coastal flooding impacts are probable on Friday and Saturday (particularly evening tides) along parts of North West and South West of England coasts and possible more widely along the south coast of England. High tide levels from Wednesday through to Saturday may also lead to localised impacts in other places too.

Land, roads and some properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.
